Dear Maggie

Buffalo's Charter Revision Commission ballot measures! For my fellow Buffalonians- If you're like me and check your ballot in advance, you may have been caught off guard by the 11 additional ballot measures written in very tiny text! These proposed changes to Buffalo's City Charter cover everything from how the City adopts its budget and fills vacancies in elected offices to government transparency, police oversight, and human rights.

Our friends at Clementine Gold Group have been working hard to get the word out and help residents understand what they're being asked to vote on. With Election Day right around the corner, it's worth taking a few minutes to read up before heading to the polls on Nov. 3.

You can see the plan language guide on the City of Buffalo's Charter Revision Commission website or check out Investigative Post's guide.
